MicroMesh cushioned abrasives are backed with a flexible cloth and a resilient inner layer and feature large, micron-graded silicone carbide crystals. The “cushioning†prevents deep random scratches, common when using conventional abrasives. You may choose to use a bit of water to cool the surface you are working on and extend the life of the belts. The polishing tool has a spring loaded end to help attain maximum control.
AO Grade abrasive colors range from off white to yellow and are preferred by china restorers as it leaves no color residue.
