One of the most popular tapes used in conservation the world over, Filmoplast P90 is a wood-free, self-adhesive paper-based tape featuring an acrylic adhesive designed to protect cellulose fibers. The Filmoplast P90 adhesive is pH 8.5, but the paper base is pH 8.0 It can be removed using water (unlike document repair tape) or a suitable solvent. Filmoplast P90 is an opaque white tape. It is useful in many areas, including basic paper repair as well as repairing joints during book restitching and restoration and to re-attach pages which have torn from books. The rolls measure 3/4 in. by 164 feet.
