Double coated tape by 3M has a polyester base with adhesive on both sides. This tape comes in rolls either 1 in., 1/4 in. or 1/2 in. wide and 36 yards long. It is predominately used with polyester for encapsulation purposes, but it can also be used in a variety of other ways.
