We are pleased to add a new product to the popular Beva line. Beva Tex is sold as a roll 27" wide and 36" long. It consists of pH neutral Beva 371 at a thickness of 0.6 mils/ 15 microns applied to a non-woven polyester base (30 gm/ sq. meter or .95 oz./ yard). This is supported on silicone-coated polyester. It is designed for the conservation of works on paper, for use in fabric conservation, and in the conservation and restoration of paintings. It may also be used to mount and frame works of art. Beva Tex is acitvated at low temperature, between 150-160 degrees F (65-70 degrees C) and is reversible at the same temperature.
