Textile Storage Boxes, Fold-Flat Style
It has been common knowledge for some time that certain
textiles, such as silks and wools, should not be stored in alkaline
papers. Yet every box available which
is purportedly for “archival textile storage” touts the fact that it contains
alkaline buffers and a pH of 8.0 or 8.5.
Some of these boxes also contain such undesirable elements as lignin,
but of course no mention is made of this fact. The invention of our new Lig-Free® Type II
corrugated board provided the solution to this problem. Our textile storage boxes are supplied flat
