Polythene (A) Wax Polythene (A) wax is a hard wax which is supplied as a white crystalline powder with melting point between 98 and 108 C. Use it formulating hard pastes which are tremendously stable in high heat. Due to its fine crystal structure, Polythene (A) wax produces especially smooth, opaque pastes virtually insoluble in conventional organic solvents at room temperature.
