Archival Starch Paste
This 6.0 pH starch
paste is specially formulated to provide a long service life as an archivists
and bookbinding paste. The inclusion of a fungicide (0.15%) enhances both
stability and complete protection of the adhesive while in use. It is
used in book repair and picture mounting. Bookbinders Archival Starch Paste
is particularly useful for end papering and general hand book binding work
where its smooth slow setting properties aid positioning. It is also ideal
for many other purposes, including case-making and the mounting and repair of
ephemeral material, and can be used for the production of archival quality
envelopes and folders. This starch paste is slow-setting, allowing easy
position realignment, and contains a fungicide for improved shelf-life.WS1650
is soluble in water, thus it can be reversed and diluted in water.
