Actinic Ink
Actinic
inks are available for use in pens or on stamp pads. It can be purchase by
the bottle or in kits. Actinic inks are made with inorganic pigments and are
not carbon- based. They are chemically stable, permanent, and acid- free.
Actinic ink will not fade or damage the paper substrate to which is applied,
and marks will be dry to the touch in about a minute and completely dry in
about ten minutes. The #125 Marking Kit contains a 2-oz. bottle of #125 black
ink, three stamp pads measuring 2.75 in. x 4.25 in., an applicator, and
instructions. Additional bottles of ink may be purchased separately;
applicator brushes are attached to the inside of the lid. The #230 Writing
Kit contains a 2-oz. bottle of ink, a pen holder, a steel pen, and directions
for use. Bottles of #230 ink may also be purchased separately. When
considering #230 ink, please be advised that he pens supplied in the kits
will work correctly with it while similar pens may not function correctly nor
give satisfactory results.
