Micromesh Sanding Stick Kit MicroMesh cushioned abrasives are backed with a flexible cloth and a resilient inner layer and feature large, micron-graded silicone carbide crystals. The “cushioning” prevents deep random scratches, common when using conventional abrasives. You may choose to use conventional grit sandpaper and then complete the polishing process with this kit, beginning with 1500 grit and working up as needed. Nine belts are included with the kit, one of each of the standard grades: 1500, 1800, 2400, 3200, 3600, 4000, 6000, 8000, and 12,000, as well as the sanding stick tool itself. You may choose to use a bit of water to cool the surface you are working on and extend the life of the belts.
