Vacuum with Variable Speed Control
Nilfisk museum vacuums
have specially designed variable speed HEPA filters which make them the ideal
choice to gently remove dust and dirt from your collection and its immediate
environs. Variable speed suction means you can regulate the power when
cleaning delicate items. The four-stage filtration captures 99.97% of
ultra-fine dust particles (down to 0.3 microns in size) while preventing dust
from re-circulating back into the air. The vacuum has a 3-1/4 gallon capacity
and weighs only 11 pounds. It comes with a detachable trolley
and a six-foot plastic hose, wand, floor nozzle, and standard brush.
Additionally, a special micro tool kit is included with the vacuum (no need
to purchase separately). It is ideally suited to cleaning fragile artifacts,
books, linens, or other rare and delicate items. It also fits conveniently in
small places difficult to clean with conventional equipment, such as computer
keyboards. The kit includes a special hose which attaches to that on the
vacuum and will accommodate the other micro-accessories, comprised of two
brushes (one round, one oval), a crevice nozzle, two 5 in. wands (one curved, one
extension), and a reducer. The reducer may be adjusted to reduce the vacuums
suction still further, at the tool itself, and to allow additional air in to
cool the motor of the machine. It includes a starter package of five bags.
Replacement packages of bags and replacement cartridges are also available.
